Goldfrancine from the beauty case suggested a neon-themed manicure for today, so here I am with a bright neon green: L.A. Girl GNL469 Kryptonite, from their Brites collection. I paired it with Yes Love no. 10 which is a slightly tinted jelly polish that glows in the dark! How cool is that? I’m a sucker for anything GITD!

The Yes Love is not marked as glow in the dark, and I found out it was only by chance. You might want to check if it has a jelly consistency as it was the biggest tell. Or, if you already have one at home, just put it under light to “charge” it: it charges quickly (but glows less strong over time).
It has almost no colour payoff so it’s impossible to get the colour you see in the bottle. For the strongest glow I suggest layering it several times over white, as it gives brighter results than green. You’ll have to trust me on this as my camera wouldn’t capture anything with the lights off.
The downside to this polish is that it takes a really long time to dry, so I used Seche Vite, but still as you can see it made some bubbles.

I liked the neon green, and the Yes Love since it’s not easy to apply now sits on my bedstand, so I can watch it glow every night. Sounds like a fairytale ending!
